Complete the tourism license application form and submit with the following attachments:

• a copy of the ID card or passport.
• 2 photos.
• a copy of educational qualifications and work experience.
• a copy of the labor card for  non-Omanis.
• criminal status certificate.
• medical certificate.

The applicant will have an interview with the Tour Guide Committee of the Ministry of Tourism, then be offered a tour guide’s license after paying the fee as follows:

• Omani general tour guide (OMR 20)
• Omani regional tour guide (OMR 10)
• Non-Omani general tour guide (OMR 100)
• Non-Omani regional tour guide (OMR 50)
• Temporary tour guide (OMR 5)
